Unfortunately, for many (but not all) millenials, this is closer to a documentary than a joke.

Funny stuff!! Asking for HR was really funny to me, as well as the line about being negative and getting no validation, support, etc. As a high school teacher, I am constantly amazed at how many of these teenagers have very few coping skills and are constantly needing to see the guidance counselor. When I was in high school just over 20 years ago a student went to the guidance office 4-5 times during their entire high school career. It was to pick courses for the following school year and maybe one or two visits to talk about colleges.

    OMG, I tried hiring Amy

    and some of her friends.
one sauntered in at 9 or so, went to DD for his first espresso at 9:45 instead of straight to his first job assignment , then wanted to be at the bar for liquid lunch for two hours.

I ended up closing the business .
    a 40 year old business.

The funny part is, that in the whole history of the world this is the greatest time to be alive. Look at all of the luxuries we have! I get really tired of people who complain about “these times”. Work hard, be a good person and have a great life!

All in fun, of course, but I'll tell you, I know a lot of great millennials. Don't write them off.

People who complain the most about mellinneals is the generation who raised them (parents and/or grandparents).
