Dang Pallet Pete, you look cold. I looked like that a few nights ago but it definitely was not snow. I was under a sugar silo trying to free up a rotary valve at 3am and I was sweating like mad and all the sugar stuck to my face and clothes! lovely sticky mess. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Whoa!!!!!!!!!! 3" of ice then 5" of snow. You'd best hibernate for a while. Snow no problem but that ice surely will be.
Well, we saw what the ground looked like for a short time but now it is white again. A skiff of ice under the snow. We were supposed to head to the big city today but called to cancel. No need to be out driving in this if we don't have to. That is one nice thing about retirement! I was up around midnight and was still 50 degrees. It is now 21 degrees at 10:54 am.
Cold one out there again! Pretty much all buses/ schools not happening today. Wood stove and oil burner running like dogs.
They said around noon it would change! We were pushing 60 then all the sudden 180 degree wind shift, pouring rain and now at 41 and falling.
Ok, cool, when I clicked the Nepa link it pulled up some commercial stuff here in central Washington.
Andrews AFB reporting 66* on the hour. Dzl and ovrcst But closer to home, USNA reporting 54*. (See what an ice-covered river does for thermo?) Baltimore 60* Cleaned stove last night and prepared to burn tomorrow.
Probably.. We got 3.5” snow and a lot of freezing rain in about 30 minutes this morning. I barely got to work so I jumped on the plow and went to work so the office ladies could get in the drive. Twas not a good time
Stove is cleaned and back in action. Hadn't been loaded since yesterday morning and the house was dropping to the low 60's. Just sitting here nursing a hangover wishing I skipped the drinks last night.
