I see our price went up $.40 per gallon today up to 2.799.

Saudia Arabia evidently has cut production. Warnings have gone out that gas prices are to raise .20 to .30 per gallon. Guess Michigan price setters did not read that...

Price of crude is trying to break $70/bbl. While painful at the pump, higher prices will re-ignite production in the US. That's a good thing. The more of our own supply we can use, the better. It takes $60/bbl for the producers down here in the Appalachian Basin to get excited to drill. Texas can get by on ~$40/bbl. Unsure about the Bakken. Saudi Arabia still turns a profit at $20/bbl. Again, painful at the pump, but good for the Nation overall.

Backwoods Savage the price will go up for a while, BUT if these warmer temps hold for a while it will subside. We make more natural gas than we use, but when half the country goes below 0 the people without wood heat crank their furnaces and electricity for all those heat pumps increases. Several generator plants switched to oil as Nat gas prices spiked. Remember those pipe lines are only so big and oil has 30% more BTUs than gas per gallon. With more normal temps and demand they are already gone back to Nat gas.

Paying almost .20 more a gallon here today. I'm sure it'll catch up with the rest of the greed real soon!

Gas buddy is showing $1.079/liter at the moment, or about $4.85 gallon with the Canadian peso.

It goes up like a rocket and down like a feather with no rhyme or reason.

Speaking of the bakken and bring good for the economy, the company I work for builds the crank cases for haliburton, and they pay a PREMIUM for our services.

This is expected to bring even more business to the company I work for. I'm in the hydraulics business.

Gas is 2.45 a gallon here at best. 2.54 the worst, so far.

I got lucky today. I saw everyone changing prices today and managed to find one who hadn't changed yet. Saved me over 12 bucks. 2.29 instead of 2.79.
