    Thoseare definitely some insane pictures! :hair: That's definitely when men were men!:thumbs: I couldn't imagine cutting down a redwood that size with an ax and a crosscut saw. :hair::doh:

    I recommend every one to take the trip out there and view them. If you have to choose between the redwoods/sequoias, the choose sequoias park. No regrets.

    (Yeah, I know they are both the same tree....)

    Actually, while visiting the Sequoia National Park, I was asked politely to leave. Seems some of the tree hugging visitors complained about the sounds of a revving chain saw every time I got out of the car!
