...Sometimes it pays to have a good back up, especially in circumstances like this... no rush for a new one just a little manuvering is all... who know I may like it in the house and find another beer fridge...
T shirt weather! Tropical heat wave! It's been well below 0 every day the last 2-3 weeks, without wind-chill, supposed to be 30 above tomorrow, time to get my floaties on and hit the beach!
Bgoathill , that lil guy is ADORABLE!! Chvymn99, can't recommend a brand but we had french doors with freezer on the bottom at my previous home, it was so much easier to get in and out of compared to the side by side we have here. Only thing was the lunch meat/cheese drawer, it was as wide as the entire fridge so had to open both doors all the way to get into it and lost a lot of cold air, if we get that kind again I'll look for two drawers instead of one wide one.
The news said 60 mph but it was easily like 90, went on for couple days Might have been a microburst too, like the one that blew our window and ruined my big sliding glass door wall just about the same time last year.
I agree. We have a fridge with double doors and freezer on bottom and it is very handy; much better for us at least. The drawers in ours do not got the entire width so much better. The only think I do not like is they want you to put milk in the door but I like milk toward the back. Have to tilt the gallon of milk slightly to get in and out. Not a big problem; just one of those nagging little things.
Break time! Just before I left my Dad’s about 8:15, my brother called me and said his tenant called him and said the furnace in his rental building was not working. And it’s getting real cold. Brother is in California visiting his son. LOL So I went over to check it out. After trying several things, and about 2 1/2 hours later, it’s up and running. DARN COLD out there. Almost new gas furnace installed in October 17. Needed a new igniter.
A new igniter for a furnace that is only a couple months old seems strange. Does your brother have a warranty on it so at least he can get reimbursed for the unexpected issue?
He is going to look into that when he gets back. Not sure if that is covered. Seems to me everything would be for the first year. Igniter was $58. They can be finicky. But you are right. It shouldn’t have gone bad this soon.
Just filled the indoor wood box again. Also filled the 2 face cord rack on the back porch. It's a whopping 13 and sunny, nicest it's been in a few days, so it was time to do it. I'm thinking it may be beer thirty.
A little cabin fever here with the cold weather. I worked some more on parting out an older table saw and made some corn chowdah with bacon and french bread grilled cheese sandwiches. The stove is rolling along, no complaints here.
