Ok so once I have the clutch and flywheel off how do I get the old seals out? I have heard things like drywall screws??? Putting the new ones in?? Use a big socket?
Yes. Try to get something into the seal so you can jerk it out. Whatever you do, do not pry around the outer edges of the seal for you will ruin the crankcase. Some people use a medium flat screw driver with a notch on one side. Some people use a small slide hammer arrangement. Keeping the new seal straight is a real problem at reassembly.
Not sure. Havent pressure tested it. But I have them and put a Chinese e top end it it and have the seals anyway. It has a whacky idle as well and the motor had a burned piston with welded rings. There is several things that could of caused it on the original. But this saw means nothing to me has zero resale value(roached out) and I will use it to learn on.
