I hope your mother has a good recovery Horkn. That must have been quite a surprise.

Storm prep this morning. A blizzard bearing down on N.E. today. Locally south of us up to 18" of snow. The coast is going to get battered with wind and astronomical high tides. Power outages possible. Temp drops to near 0 tomorrow and through the weekend. It should be an interesting 24 hours.

 

Depending on how the storm goes, this could end up being a tough two day workweek for me. I'll be working from home, but when 70-80% of my day is usually spend driving and meeting with customers, there's only so much I can do.

Such a sad story.

 

Yes, I too went thru that issue with my mother as well. Hopin' she has a fast and complete recovery Horkn'. Those things get a lot harder as we age.

Mornin' Hoarders. Compared to recent days, a balmy 14 this a.m.. Hope you folks along the east coast are prepped for that Nor'Easter hitting your areas. We are supposed to get blasted in the next few hours with another dose of "mega cold" coming from the NW. They say it will only last until Saturday. Sure hope they are right. It's been cold, but not like Wisconsin, Minnesota or Iowa. I'm up by the bridge and about 15 miles from Lake Michigan so we've been from -10 to + 10 for about 2 weeks now

 

Looks like you guys are going to get hammered. Hope the power stays on. I wish we'd get a good snow here, but not like that.

I dont mind the snow, but the last storm did not melt back and there is packed snow and ice everywhere that will be dangerous.

The shoreline communities may see some damage. There is a lot of ice in the harbors that is predicted to get thrown up on shore. The message was if you live close to the ocean, board up and get out.

The northeast wind gusts are already building. It is like a ghost town out there.

 

This massive storm on the east coast is just pulling that cold arctic air down.

 

Wow, Crush birch beer! I haven't had birch beer in years. Polar used to make some. Love the bilingual labelling you guys have.

 

My condolences on your tough workweek. Hope you survive.

 

I get a scattered can, I try to avoid too much soda.
