Mornin' Hoarders, coffee intake happening, as Boecefus said "Xtra gooder in this weather". Only dropped to -12 last night, currently sitting on -9. Just as I thought, here comes the snow for the next couple of days. Our extremely cold temps appear to be tempering over the next week and , as it usually does, allows the snow to start falling. Ain't winter grand? For all you sick folks, hope you bounce back quick. For all you workin' folks, try to have a good day as you slide the traces back on. Everyone stay safe and warm.
Well first day of school, delayed 2 hours because buses (diesel engines) won't start at minus twenty , gosh I hope the people educating our children are not the same ones that can't read a thermometer or watch weather forecast. got 6 extra neighbor kids making waffles I am going to sugar them up..
Temperature flirting with freezing again. Looks like it is going to be another sunny day. I am going to try and get laundry out on the clothesline again. It smells so great when I bring it in. Bookkeeping today and taking the tree down. campinspecter is now fighting with a cough. Gasifier had a good idea with the chicken soup. I may have to make some. We had the chili I made a few days ago and it turned out alright. I might even try cornmeal muffins.
Did anyone see the awesome moon we had last night? It came up almost like a harvest full moon in October. I think this is the closest it is going to be for this year.

Some meltage occurring today....wonderful. The harbor in town is pretty devoid of traffic today, but for the freighter I came to see......the fuel terminal has no shortage if trucks to fill however. Not a bad day I suppose.
