I recently came across a lightly used BK King and decided to let my old one go instead of rebuilding it myself. I bought it as a demo in 2009 and as you can tell from the pics it is very well used as a 24/7/210 heater. At a minimum, it needs a cat, bricks, handles, cat thermometer, bypass seal, door seal, bypass door ramp (the thing on the back the handle rides on to open/close bypass) repaired. Tstat and blowers both worked fine last season. Please dont think you are going to take it home and heat your house with it until you get around to working on it as you will be wasting both of our time. This stove is $4K+ new and has an 8" flue. $500 obo...as is where is no shipping...cash only...not interested in trades or troll comments
heres a troll comment for ya,looks like its been severely overheated, and abused. i own the same model(that doesnt look like that) and they dont cost $4000+
The stove is accurately represented and photographed to someone who has skills/time that I don't to own arguably one of the best 24/7 heaters ever made at a fraction of new. I have no interest in wasting anyone's time including mine and am happy to take additional pics requested by anyone seriously interested. I'm 8 hours into my current Elm burn with the identical stove I replaced it with and didn't even consider replacing it with something else.
You would have to call your dealer(s) and see what deal you can negotiate to answer that question. I couldn't get my dealers to move from retail but that doesn't necessarily mean you couldn't find one that would.
Jamesville...shoot me a pm if you have a lead on any dry wood. I will pick up anywhere within reason.
