    Sorry, no pictures.

So wanted to start the tractor again and we also needed to put a bit more wood on the porch, so out I went yesterday. I was able to load a bucket of wood and move it to the porch but my wife did help with the unloading. So we're set for another week or more with wood on the porch.

It was nice to get out even if it was cold. Was okay except the fingers got a bit cold. I even drove the tractor to the end of the driveway (a bit over 100 yards) and brought back the trash can as it was trash day here. Otherwise wife would have had to drag it back so saved her some work.

I do feel the effects of loading the wood with a bit of soreness but hopefully that is just one more step in the healing.

Nice you could get outside for a while. Hopefully there was some sunshine to soak up.

Maybe should have waited until today as the sun is shinning now. This time of year we don't see the sun a lot normally.

Normally yes. Today, there is not a cloud in the sky. And the temp shows it

It's nice to get for some crisp winter air. So the saying goes, get out and get the stink blown off.

Glad you got to get out on the tractor for a bit, Dennis. Even though you're a bit sore now, I'm sure it felt good to be out and do it. Hope the soreness goes away in rapid fashion!

After the bike accident in Oct., I went back to work the next day.
I was sore and it was painful, but I could do it.
Insurance agent asked why didn't I take some time off?
I told her, because, if you can move it, you better move it.....or you will loose it.
And as a physical therapist told me when I fractured my scapula, push it as far as you can....
your body will tell you when to stop.
    It does.

I'll see you on the road.

    Doc probably says
    Getting out, being active helps.

Not overdoing it is the tough part.

    Good thing is
You & the tractor both got a little exercise

Absolutely. You have to remain active, but not over do it.

I hate that my Mom had been hauling wood, or as she says it " throwing wood" as something to remain active. She's had several medical procedures recently. I kept telling her that I'm pretty sure that the doctor wouldn't be ok with her hauling wood. She eventually listened to me after several years of me chiding her.

There's definitely a difference between doing something, and over doing it.

It's sure nice getting it after the cabin fever is about to hit from the cold snap.

It is not very often that I keep my stove going all day long but the last two days It has been going non stop. Should start to warm back up into the 30's here pretty soon and get back to some more normal temps for here.
