    Got out just at day break this morning. 3 hrs later had a nice load of ash and sugar maple.

    No splitting for me until spring, yes I have been itching for some saw time. Next trip to this spot I will need to take the ramp to roll the rounds on the truck. Big sugar blew over and took a big ash down with it.

    The ash around here are just starting to see the ash borer.

    Most of the ash I cut is standing dead trunk, as the branches have already broken off the majority of the trees here. Sad.
