Forgot to add power service and still running summer blend, and yup she started up great this morning but only ran about a minute.

Filter is gelled, added 911 half and half diesel, no go.

Added direct to tank, another 2 hrs passed, still no go.

I don't have a torpedo heater, but I'm thinking I have to rig something up tomorrow to make a heating tent.

Otherwise??? She'll turn over and rumble but won't stay running at all. Tried throttle wide open and normal starting position. I can't find any air bleeders on this thing, it's a Kubota B2100.

Change the fuel filter. Usually the first place to stick..

Should replace it. The wax in the fuel stays there after it gels. You can try removing it and letting it warm up for a few hours while draining. I've had that work before but a slow process. If you have any parts stores around just take the filter number and they should be able to cross it to an aftermarket filter if the Kubota dealer isn't close.

There should be a bleeder screw either on the filter housing or on the injector pump, could be hidden in the line on one of the banjo fittings. Can't remember how Kubota set them up, it's been a while since I looked at one

A bigger Kubota, but maybe similar in principle...

A 250 watt heat lamp (for pigs/lambs) can warm things up. Sometimes too much (be careful!)

You saying full 911? Because I have already added the half & half mix and it ain't running!

tree killer will attack the filter first thing tomorrow morning, no Kubota dealers nearby but there is a Kioti.

Flamestead appreciate the manual, mine literally says "to bleed, open fuel line and start". Nothing else so either there isn't any (hard to believe) or there were some shortcomings in the manual Dept.

Like others said, change the fuel filter. I always keep a spare on hand for both diesels. I had the dealer throw them in when I purchased.
Dump some of the additive right into your tank as well.

Sorry to hear that. Looks like tons of good advice above. Might be time to get a propane heater, they arnt that pricey anymore. I use mine quite a bit for random stuff here and there.

Wrap the filter in a heating pad and turn it on high! She'll go! Do it on boats all the time. "if you can get to it.".

Might just be water frozen into a disc on top of the filter.Had it happen on a 7600 Ford.Would start and run just not pull.
My supplier puts in No 2 fuel year around because they don't want to chance someone running winter blend in the warm months and they have a lot of users who don't burn that much.Power Service white bottle solves the problem unless I forget.

I run the white bottle.... usually! First time gellin.

You guys recommending 911 in the filter & run it... btdt

No go = it isn't running!

Will start fresh in the afternoon, warmest one in the near future at 20F. Might scrounge around for a torpedo heater, no shop so no point in buying one.

Call 911. Tarp it up and get some heat in there with whatever you got. Steal the wife's hair dryer if you have to.
