I built a wood boiler with water jacket, which is piped into shop to my heat exchangers. I need a water temperature controller to kick my circulating pump on. Would like it to kick on at about 100° or so and also shut off at 100° when I'm not home. Also my jacket holds about 40 gal and i am 100' from shop, do i need 2 circulating pumps or is 1 fine. I have a gas boiler inside that runs through my heat exchanger. Any help on finding a controller would be great, thank you. Paul
Welcome to the club, Willy! Sounds like your on the right track, a simple aqua stat would turn the pump on and off at your preset temp.
I used several of these: ETC-111000-000 - Ranco ETC-111000-000 - Single Stage ETC Temperature Control w/ 8' Sensor, 120/240V Input
