Good for you Loon! That is great and I am really glad it worked that way for ya. I know how expensive things can be with trucks and more so heavy equipment. The last time I wanted to get a couple things fixed on my Bobcat it ended up being a pretty good size bill. But, I wanted it done right and I had them service the whole thing while they had it. That raised the bill just a "tad"! mother
Yes got very lucky gang Been helping him and his wife over on the farm for the last 13 years or so and have never asked for anything except for the woodcutting and when i asked how much i owed him i got the big 'Dont worry about it' again Some of ya's might remember the limb through the front windshield Got all the plowing done today with the other 4 wheeler WITHOUT breaking anything-lol- here we are back at the house throwing some wood in and relaxing.
Sounds like all ended pretty well. With all that money you saved you could justify a new chainsaw purchase.
Nice. Does he like good beer? Wait. He's Canadian. My bad. A gesture of a 12er of good beer goes a long way, even though he obviously feels you don't owe him anything. The two of you are great neighbors for each other. They also sell small kegs of Yuengling over here loon. Taste the best when it's draft!
Beautiful day today, which we deserve after yesterday. My snow drifts are crazy deep...getting to my wood stack I have to wade through hip deep snow. That didn't last too long til I went back for a shovel. Really glad you realized you had left that chainsaw out. Good luck trying to find one in this. It was so windy directly out of the North down the entire length of the lake that the wind just blew all the snow past my steps and yard. No shoveling there. It all went to the wood stack, the other side of the plowed pile of snow.
Something similar I did not see until I hit it. Riding a 3 Wheeler, I decided to go through a Field with tall grass, no trail, I didn't see the huge ant hill, Right rear tire only hit the hill, Flipped me, broke my toe, Lesson learned.
