The air temp just hit 32. It is pouring rain out now. Lots of accidents and some power outages. We are hoping all this ice melts off quick today. We will venture out later when travel is safer. I'm making chicken stock now and will have chicken tortellini soup for lunch.

Plowing with tractor done. Shoveling done. Hardwood brought in with my son helping.:handshake:

We now have enough wood in the basement for the next 5-6 days. And there are going to be some cold ones! o_O

o_O I would say we got another 3” in the last three hours and it’s still coming down. This storm system has turned out to be more than I thought it was going to be.

Ventured out a couple of hours ago and most people were driving appropriately. Surprising I know but I must admit I just went to the dump and then grabbed a couple of things from Shaw's (need munchies for the traveling tomorrow). Course I live in a small town quite a ways from any cities, so it's not like I was facing a rush of last-minute shoppers..

We've had flurries all day, but not any to stick. While there's some snow in spots, it's probably not going to be a white Christmas. We just have the cold, no real snow.

I brought a couple of wheelbarrows full of wood to the patio stack and some inside.

I live in a small town too. However, I went to Salem to Market basket, total cluster F. Both in the store, and on the roads. Would have been better on my nerves to pay the extra $10 and go right down the street to hanafords

Everybody’s driving crazy tonight! We just got home and must have seen 5 cars with state troopers behind them all lit up.

6qt crock pot full and I may eat half that tonight if I’m not careful!
