My wife is a Jennifer from the 70s craze. She wanted nothing to do with a popular name, came up with some crazy chit to.suggest that I vetoed promptly. We settled on Charlotte.......then shortly after that both Chelsea Clinton, and the prince in England named there kids that and it took off. She was pizzed! Her middle ne is Charlotte Elora (light of god). Wife figured that we would never meet someone with that name. When she was still am infant we were at other daughters school and ran into a mom with a newborn. She asks what he name is.....Charlotte Alora pronounced almost exactly the same way. Wife.looked like she was being punked

Caffeine going in. I’m going to plug the 3550 in this morning for an hour so it will start a lot easier when I go out to clean up the snow I didn’t do last night. After snow is finished up it is time to bring some more hardwood in for the nighttime burning. I may get out in the woods today and do a little clean up work while making some firewood for next year at the same time.
Morning Hoarders! Preparing for Project Santa Clause tomorrow Going to get a bunch of coats and shoes today while I am out... Our group is walking the Lansing area around the streets to hand out coats to homeless adults and kids. There is a surprising amount in the Lansing area. Fired the stove up and percolating the dark stuff now.
Rain/sleet just set in here. Everything is getting a slight crust of ice. The temp is supposed to be up near 50 later today with a switch to rain. We were outside last night for a few hours in the snow with a fire going and friends visiting. Kids were sledding on the hill. Probably the best time we've had this winter so far.
Light dusting here. Maybe some more tomorrow. Got umpteen million things to do today. Better get started...need to let the coffee soak in first.

Having our Christmas meal today since my son and daughter are both home. Prime rib, shrimp, home made meat raviolis, home made bread, should round out a nice menu for the meal. mmmmm! Daughter and her boyfriend drove home form western slope of Rockies in Colorado last weekend with absolutely no hitches in the weather! (Thanks Beetle-Kill I know you keep a good eye out for them! ) They'll be heading back on Thu. Hope the weather holds out for their return trip. Son has to head back on Christmas day for work on Tue
Good morning, temps are falling and the rain is starting to turn to sleet outside. The weather guess is for some snow to show up. I get to work today and tomolly until 8pm as well as Monday til 3pm. Coffee is on and pretty good. Be safe out there.
A friend's wife used to work in the Milwaukee school district. The craziest name she ever heard was a little girl, named "Special K" Anyone here on FHC can use that name of you want. Lol
