Maybe my package will still get here today or tomorrow.

Not sweating it though. Too many sweat Christmas by making it what it isnt.

edit-oh and my package is a pair boots too

I haven't had any issues with delivery on my end, But some of the packages I've sent are averaging at least 1 day late. Mother inlaws package is 3 days late. She might see it today???

    :loco:

I ordered something yesterday from a place in WA and noted in the comments section that it was not a Christmas gift so I don't care when it gets to me. No reason to add to the load of packages trying to get thru the system for leather conditioner and waterproofer.

Doesn't matter, I can just think in my mind that I might attend something, and whammo, something happens either to prevent me from going or the weather turns crappy out of the blue.

Wanna know what it is like where I am going? 46* right now (6:30 am there) with a high of 54. Wanna know what it is supposed to do when I get there? Drop to the 20's/30's. Guess when the chance of snow is - The night before and the morning of my flight back.

Yeah, no hurry to waterproof & condition those summer bike boots, although there is a 60% of rain on whatever day you decide to go out w/ the bike.

When I was a kid, I had a sled to use. Shared with my brother. No bikes. But we did have boots, and we had cardboard boxes we could use once we got the snow packed down. We used to go sledding in the moonlight. No TV either.
oh, our boots were those overshoe boots that had the snap closures. (we wore our reg shoes inside the boots) My neighbor had real boots. Those green ones with heavy socks that kept his feet warm. Lucky him.

I'm guessing you had like the rest of us.....the black rubber boots that had the metal "fold over" clips.

I really want to see if it is useable in my yard - that is my idea of spending big on myself. Actually, the next two would be better for me.

We didn't have hills in KS , so had no use for sleds. Just had a little red wagon - didn't go to well in snow but went awesome on ice. Had a pair of key roller skates that I shared with my sister. I got boots when I was 14 and was in Campfire Girls and went on a backpacking trip for camp (selling candy paid for most of that). The creek out back was the playground, when we weren't working

Ooh, those are nice - nope, never had those. Used bread bags.
