I worked on a farm as a teen for a man that collected vintage tractors and equipment. I drove daily an International M, H , C or John Deere A, B, 4020. Possibly others but I remember those well. We ran a thrashing machine and no combine even though he had one we did everything old school. I'd pull his dad on a haybine I believe it was cutting the field and then we would shock orchard grass. Lots of good memories working that farm...

Having grown up on the edge of the city, not much opportunities to drive a tractor.
Back in 1994 I bought a 1949 Farmall M. That would be the first tractor I drove if you don't include lawn tractors.

John Deere 3020 Diesel was the first tractor I drove, hauling an auger for dad from the field to the farm.... I mush a have been about 8 or so. First tractor in the field all on my own was John Deere 4640, running the disc chisel, at age 10.

Yep long time, no see! With my back surgeries, the only wood burning I've done is in the fire pit on the patio, haven't cut a stick of fire wood way to long. But doing great, back is better, and have new toy... er tools for cutting firewood, so as soon as we get some frost I'll be back at it!

Looks like you didn't drive your first one till later in life, even if it was brand new when you did.

Unfortunately I don't have one. I don't own the tractor. It was one we used to have at work, and has since left the job and gone back to the shop to get worked on
