I will have to see if i can get some pics. I had estimated my haul at about 3.5 cords of wood based on my long bed truck being full of rounds each time (about 1/2 cord). I then used the cord estimator after measuring my stacks and it also gave me 3.5 cords (not including the 1/2 cord of hickory I scored this past weekend that still needs splitting).

As for the zombies, they actually film in the area, some of our friends have been extras in the filming.

Unfortunately, I had to turn down 2-3 cords of red/white oak yesterday (maybe more). It was cut in 24" rounds but inaccessible without a bobcat or something else to get to it, move it to a better location for loading - almost enough to make you cry.

How great would it be to see a zombie on there in a FHC Got Wood t-shirt?!

Well if you can't get to it, neither can others. It may still be there later when it is accessible?

The first picture shows about 3.5 cords, a mixture of white oak, maple, red oak.

The second picture should be about 1.5 cords, 1/2 cord is fresh cut hickory with the remaining cord of maple (I think - the homeowner simply said it was hard wood - leaves in the area looked like oak, but I split a piece of it and it looked like maple that I already had in the stack). All of this was scrounged off of Craigslist.

The stack in the back of the second picture is what's left of my original stack of wood that had come from our own land and split on Christmas day.

Based on my estimates, puts me in the 5+ cord range, a wood-a-holic, fast approaching cord-horder status.
