Thanks Gas, I am really impressed with this set-up so far. The sales manager brought it up this a.m. and installed it in my shop. He was telling me that Kubota has advised dealers that they will now need a 6 month lead time on new tractor orders effective Jan 3rd. Up from 4 months in October. Apparently with 2 new plants in Georgia now on line, they cannot keep up to demand.

I guess my uncle is putting his 76 Chevy plow truck to work......nice old truck that I wish he'd restore.

Its a.....shall we say.....Interesting spot where he lives.......little gravel lane with 3 or 4 houses on it.....off a 4 lane main road in a nearly all commercial zone

I was hoping to have a plow truck by now.....

Love those square body Chevy's! I haven' been in one in years, but I can still distinctly remember the sound the doors make when they close. No other vehicle that I can remember that on.

More for Ford or dodge myself as I've said before, BUT I love the 3 generations GM make from 67 to 98. Nice trucks.

His daily driver is a super clean 94 1500, escb 4x4 in dark blue. Don't think I have a pic, but clean chevy.

The late 80s to early 90s were one golden Era for trucks, IMO. 8th Gen ford, late 1st Gen ram, late square body GM and early gmt400. All some of my favorite trucks.

Not a lot going on today and the last few days. Work, kids basketball practices, keeping good hardwood coming into the house for boiler during this cold. In a little bit we will be off to the youngest one’s game. Then a drive through a Christmas Lights/Scenery venue type thingy that is a local set up each season.

Moved 1/2 cord up to the house and moved the bin I built from barn to the house. Bin contains two year old <12" shorts. DSCN0432.JPG
I have used tarps to cover my main piles in the past, but they are a pain. We will see what happens when the wind starts blowing at gale force. Maybe the bungies will help. Not much lose if the tarp shreds. It is a $2 Harbor Freight special. Stove manual says load in the N/S direction. We will see how that orientation works next time it gets real cold.
Split and stacked about a face cord.
Unboxed and put together a Poulan Pole saw that I bought about 3 years ago. It has a problem with high idle. Found a video of how to make the special tool. Now to identify LA from H adjustment. Kind of figuring all it needs is a little tweaking on the H adjustment.
When we were bucking our last log, a neighbor stop by. He said he had the same saw but mine sounded different. Handed the saw to him for a test drive. He was impressed and said, "That thing has a lot more power than mine." Told him it has been ported and turned him onto FHC. He wanted to take my saw home. Finished the log and pulled out a couple of brews. Had some wonderful conversation.
Off to make super and some Christmas goodies.
