She’s got some now!

Gloves! Came in last week and now put them to use tonight. Loaded the wood bin for... probably the 5th time this season. Not bad for 2 months of burning....

Now, all she needs is some steel toed boots. I'm thinkin' pink.

 

and a set of carhartt bibs..............

 

She’s got carhart overalls already but i am thinking boots soon.

 

Really good idea. I'd hate to hear she dropped a big split like that on her foot and got a big owie.

 

True! She’s be rocking them no doubt. We’ll see what we can find.

 

She is way too cute. She does need some good work clothes, something that mama wouldn't mind her getting dirty.

 

True. But she doesn’t mind what she was in. Could have been worse but I didn’t want to dilly dally on daylight we were losing it.

 

Next thing you know....she won't be able to move!

Hope so. They aren’t always going to work but I wanted to just start now until other interests are in the horizon...

I have a good helper here as well. Nothing better than getting the kids engaged and interested in understanding the craziness we have at times with wood.

I remember sitting on dad's lap, helping him put a trap under the kitchen sink.
Looking back, he might have been able to get it himself ...but I helped !

Dad was a plumber/pipefitter for 40+years building water and waste water plants. I'm going on 29 years at the same co. he worked for and owned for 10 of those years.

 

Love those gloves. They are great on her.
