Latest forecast for my area is very little snow and mostly rain, wouldn't be surprised to wake up to 12".....
For me it is all the same, can't do anything about it anyway. Just wait for it to melt. Kids just came up and loaded us up with pellets, (and took some home because they can't find any) I don't care. They help me out a lot. I suspect one of them will come up and dig out he yard for me. Glad I don't have to go anywhere these days.
The last storm (before vacation week) they canceled school for two days before a single flake had fallen. Could have had two half days easily. Guess they just wanted an extra long vacation... Will see what happens this time as Friday is already a no school day.
Let's hope it melts away before crusting up and the next one comes. There isn't much appealing about these late season storms.

Yes indeedy we have progressed in our forecasting ability over the last 25 years. Want a 100 year forecast? There will be weather, remember folks you heard it here first. Well this group is calling for 1" to 3", the NWS says more than 6", one of the TV stations is saying 4" to 6". I'll deal with whatever comes about, I think the snow blower can handle it.
I had some french toast this morning. Should curb my cravings for another month! Pack of 36 was picked up Sunday while on my wife's shopping spree!
