    Who dis Fabz guy?

Had a great time with more guys who stopped by on Friday dall , dustinwilt68 and SquareFile
I freely admit my #dipchittery, I managed to bang the tip of my 084 wearing a race chain on the concrete floor of my shop, I pull started the heck out of several saws in the off position, I managed to overfill the fuel and bar oil on at least two saws.

Shawn took care of bringing the Huskys to the party and Dallas n Dustin brought some Stihls and Dolmars.
My alky L65 Husqvarna is back and ready for action, Shawn tore it down and got everything ship shape, I need to run it a bunch before spring to see if it is worthy to go along to Hedgerow's GTG.
He also brought along his 346XP work saw and 390XP work saw that for some reason are just balls out fast despite still being saws with chokes, air filters, etc. We all got to run them.
The chains "Might" have something to do with the speed :)
His 365 Special is a BEAST!!! He and Dustin both ran it, it is a Fffffreak.
I'm not sure how serious he was about selling or how serious Dustin was about buying it but man alive that is a bad motor skooter. He tested a new chain on it as well, later in the day. V R O O M.

He showed us some samples of his CNC tuned and polished HT and WG racing carbs that were slick. He seemed to be talking in a foreign technical language with Dallas about square chains and Simingtons, they would look at chains and talk and nod, sadly I am oblivious to what makes them fast or durable. Dustin is getting a square grinder soon so I set him home some chains to practice on and i think he got some advice from Shawn as well.

I got to run a ported 7910 for the first time, Dustin brought it with a well done round chain and it felt so balanced and smooth and at least to me was faster than the 036s we were running around the same time.

We ran a Mastermind MS261 with both pico and .325 chains and the .325 seemed faster (pretty sure that saw is going to be on the block to make room for a new project over at Casa Del Dallas), i was surprised that the LP wasn't faster, I am always chock full of false assumptions.

A couple times when we ran a saw it would get a few measured strokes of the raker file and you could easily tell the difference. The little things matter.
    Pretty sure we ran 036s, 044/46 hybrids, 064, 066s short (and long bar at the end), 346, 365 special, 390, 394/5, 084.
Dallas' 036 is not like other 036s totally different sound, well broken in but just roars and holds great RPM in the cut, I am confident it would run with stock 044s all day and maybe a few woods ported 044s as well.
After lunch Shawn agreed to a race and let me pick the 365 Special as the model :)
His is FAST and I knew mine was fast as well because I bought it from him :)
Then he said COLD START and i had habbada habbada flashbacks to the spring.... Turns out i suck a little less than i did then, I managed to cold start both races and even though i didnt win I did manage to make my cuts before he was totally done and left to make a sandwich :)

Shawn took off to try to beat the evening traffic and Dallas and Duston decided to run thier 066s in the big maple log with the same bar and chain, both were stout performers, its hard to time cuts in the setup i have for big wood but there were no slackers.

As we were starting to shut down Dallas mentioned that he has some race chains a buddy had given him that he had never run before.... Canadian Farm Boy's 3/8 chain looked purty but we put her to the test on Dall's phenomenal Mofo 036. Dallas has a chain worthy of running against fast saws in a cant for sure now!!

i will add some links to vids and pic shortly
