This is my tractor supply no floor trailer. Welded angle iron construction. I bought it to build my first teardrop trailer on. Then after a year, I put the teardrop camper on an old pop up camper frame I got for free. The railings are made out of airplane parts. One of the types I work on has a T shaped tail stand that keeps the tail from falling during cargo loading. Over time the spring inside them wears out and they give them to me for scrap metal. My trailer ramps drop into the bare metal brackets on each side, giving me taller sides. This is the load of oak I just scrounged tonight in the cold
Yes it is.....I have weight distribution bars for it....probly need them by the time its loaded today. Rounded over...I should get about 2 to 2.25 cords on it
I dont have the simplicity anymore I use a John Deere 185 Hydro to pull it. That trailer is a back saver! It holds a lot of weight!
I need to get my TSC Husky going again. Them riders are great. Would love to afford a JD or Simplicity.
Took the wife n I about 5 hours to get this together....mostly ash with a little cherry n hickory. We stopped at a local waterin hole for a burger, fries and a couple of Angry Orchards...it was a good day!
This is what I’ve been using. Even though it’s made of red oak it’s tuff as nails. Been tossing large rounds etc inside this thing for seven years and the walls are still tight. Built it with thrurods so they can be tightened but haven’t had to turn the nuts yet. Second time I’ve rebuilt it. First time I used pressure treated and plywood. That lasted about 15 years before it blew apart. This time I ditched the suspension and flipped the frame upside down. I’ll take less ground clearance for not needing to lift the big guys so high. Another couple years of aging and I may need a drag. LOL
An old truck bed on a wagon running gear. Used to use it for farm tours hence the steps on the back. Sides are rotting away and will be building new sides someday. Only cut wood on our farm so distance isn't a problem. Have two sets of these old steel wheeled manure spreaders that I made into wagons. Only one picture as they are identical. Make it handy pulling two at a time. Easy for the kids to load from the rear. Have a few more options laying around the farm, as they make their way to the woods will get pictures of them and post them.
