It looks like some of you that have been missing out on winter will finally get your wish for some colder temps whereas folks like me living in the Canadian Rockies should be on the milder side of the equation. That it does. Still waiting for the front-mount blower to be shipped to the dealer, supposed to be this week. The rear mount unit is from my last tractor. They left it with me until the new unit arrives.
Looks like another night of chilly, and then if the crystal ball holds true, quite decent for the next week. Might have to break out the little charcoal grill and MacGyver an insulated box or something. Currently sitting at -14 C, or 8 F.
I like to smoke food in the winter but sometimes it just gets to cold to get my Bradly smoker up close to 200f so I have to wait for a warmer day. If its above -13c Im ok. The BBQ however runs year round!
I'm thinking even if I can run whatever (insert meat name here) on the charcoal grill for an hour or two, and finish off in the oven, it would still be a small victory.
Wow that will be a switch for you! We were -11c/12f this morning and now its -8c/18f. Weve had lots of low laying cloud with very little sun so its been a bit gloomy the last few days. Normally that means we are having an inversion.
