Not typical of that particular saw or series of saws. My brother has a 562 and I have a 555....both very smooth and no issues of any kind. We are not loggers, just cut lots of firewood.

You were venting I get that. The saw has been gutless & shakes itself apart. But you still made the claim.

    So beware. ;)

Huh, I’ve never had any problem with my ported 562xp except for starting it at times...It has lots of power for a 60cc. I run a 20’ Bar on it with full chisel chain and I absolutely love it. When I first got it starting it was a bit different and at times frustrating but after I got the procedure down I haven’t had a problem since.

They told me the first 562's had lots of issues with starting, but that Husky fixed the issue. He looked at mine to see when it was made, and it was made in June 2017so he said it would be fine, and it has been.

Dealerships was one of the reasons I went with Husky. He used to be a Stihl dealer, but Shihl is pushing the dealers to carry everything, even stuff like back pack blowers that do not sell here (nothing wrong with them, but they did not sell), so Stihl Dealerships are going out of selling Stihl's. It is so bad that my local Stihl Dealer is now 28 miles away. Seemed silly to pass 2 Husky dealers.

I like my current dealer, we are actually friends far beyond chainsaws. We don't go to the same church, but do a lot for a Children's Christian Camp. A lot of the problem was me, he wanted me to take a demo saw and try it for a few weeks, but I was uncomfortable with that because I am hard on my saw. My skidder pounds the crap out of me, much less anything else riding on it; I did not want to be responsible for a saw that was not mine. It is hard to describe, I just don't like borrowing stuff...just not me.

I might just rebuild my Stihl MS 461, and keep this thing as a yard saw.

Has already been mentioned and even suggested, sounds like its time to visit with your dealer/friend about the issues.
Have him run the saw and see if he thinks its a rattle box.......or typical of others he has used.

I would definitely talk to the dealer about the issues. I have never run one but many folks here have and love them. Sounds like you have a lemon or at least an issue or 2 that just needs fixed. It would be a shame to have spent the money on it and not have it functioning as intended.

Saying any chainsaw, let alone a $750 Pro saw is "disposable" might be the silliest thing I've read in a long time!

I'm not crazy about my 562xp to be honest but it isn't because of any issue you've said, in fact I find it runs exceptionally smooth.

Just FYI too, Husky is giving a $50 rebate on these saws. I paid $699 for mine and mailed in for the rebate for a total price of $649.
