Beautiful country out there, where the deer and the antelope play! I look forward to your winter weather updates, although I think the Alaska folk will have you beat!
Welcome bde269 First of all, welcome to the site. This past early summer we took a trip to the Rapid City area and we did notice a big lack of forests in eastern SD. You seem to have found a good way to scrounge wood.
Welcome to the site. Looks like you have one heck of a pile to process. You're going to like it here as there are lot's of great folks. I hope that wood didn't spend to much time on your beautiful lawn. My wife would kill me if I had wood on our lawn. LOL
Welcome to the club, bde269 ! Glad you found us, and thanks for joining up! Great first post, with pics and everything.

Welcome neighbor, I'm right down the road from ya. Nice to see s fellow Dskotan on the site. Not much forest, but plent of shelter belts with dead standing and downed stuff if you can get permission to cut on the property.
You will really like it here, I've learned tons from fellow horders and their always willing to set me straight when CAD gets the best of me and I'm thinking of getting another saw I don't need! Post some pics of your saws and equipment!
