So I normally run my stove via my Lux T-stat and as long as it’s calling for more heat, I can go to the stove and hit the fan speed ( I am on 3 by default) up or down with no problem. Fan speed, Pellet feed and Combustion air all can be increased or decreased and all the lights work.
    BUT
If I shut off the T-stat, and start the stove in Manual mode, after the initial start up and Convection fan cycling on. The following happens, I start with a huge M55 Flame, that quickly dies out to just a medium steady flame. Per the lights, I can adjust the Pellet feed and air trim but in either mode it’s hard to tell the difference...But! I can’t get the fan speed to increase or decrease....

I’m not overly concerned because the stove and all its functions work fine using the T-stat, but I would like to know what the problem could be:loco:
    Thanks, Bill

Doesn't sound like your in manual mode. More like its still in hi/lo mode and with the stat off(not calling) it stays in low fire. If your sure its in manual, Try clicking it back to auto and then back to manual a few times. Might have dirty contacts in the switch.

On occasion I have seen the stove's lock modes(pretty rare). Sometimes you need to shut it down(power down reset). Power it off, Then unplug for 20 to 30 seconds and then plug it back in(AKA reset). When you fire the stove have the switch set to the manual mode. Stove will start on #1 heat setting, Bump it up to where you want it.
