    Did a deep clean on the stove this weekend. I had trouble getting the sensor out, so I pulled the entire plate. The sensor had a pretty good coating of ash on it. A little work with a paint brush and the ash vac had it looking like new again. Great tip! Glad I checked on this while I had the stove out on the rails.

    While on the subject of snap switches,my fav mr coffee died,a while back.New proctor silex lasted less than 10 months.Found some snap thermostats,right temp,on newegg.Several lasted 2 weeks,lol.Found some from china,but are emerson switches,one has been running for a month.:D
