Was a bit surprised the wood that we were splitting was still in log form:confused: Didn’t bring my saw so he handed me his ms 270. Added another saw to the list first Stihl for me. We cut and split about a cord and a half. When we were done I asked if he wanted a hand tarping it as it was going to rain tonight. He said he was all set:zip: old habits die hard.

Got a solid start on built-in cabinets, shelves, and coat racks for the mud room today. Still a lot to do.

Made the best burger ever for dinner topped with some gouda and onions caramelized in browned butter on a toasted onion roll.

Got the turkey for thanksgiving dinner tomorrow smoked today. I hope it turned out OK...was running around all day and didnt even get a sample.

Mornin' Hoarders, woke up to about 4" of fresh snow this a.m.. Coffee intake happening soon to be followed by wild blue berry pancakes and thick sliced bacon. The township was nice enough to drop off about a foot of snow down at the end of the driveway, so I guess we will give the new tractor a "cherry poppin' " run. Everyone stay safe, warm and have a great day..............

I'm lucky in that department. Usually...(usually) the plow comes by with the wing down and makes only one pass past the house; but the wash form the blade flows to the far side of the road! How great is that? But man oh man, when he comes by form the other direction.....:bug: :hair:

I live on a private road, so our association pays one of the homeowners to plow the roads. He has a V blade, and will put it into a scoop as he passes my house if I have already plowed my driveway.

Absolutely pouring rain outside this morning. It has been doing that all night. Western and Eastern CFL finals to watch today as well as get some sewing and bookkeeping done. Good thing the socks I am knitting have an easy pattern.

WOW 2*4’s are expensive now! Sheesh

Just spent $2.85 per on economy! They where .88 cents a few months ago.

Grade A is $3.69 to $4.00 depending on who you call...:headbang: Grade A was $1.98 a few months ago.
