    Here you go.
The 3 blade head (blades pivot independently) was purchased from a bloke in Australia. This set-up will destroy all that comes before and after it!

They are 'Brushdestructor' blades.....pretty vicious setup on 40cc+ power heads. Not the best for trimming grass around a rose bush though lol.

Here's a comparison of the FS 110 blades on the right to my bigger 345FR on the left. The arbor holes are the same, so I included a pic of the blade I use on the bigger one. Easy to sharpen, cuts much better than the FS blade.

Great, I still have the same blade on it and have bounced off a rocks, big rocks while cutting suckers & small trees growing around them. We have smaller string trimmers for normal lawn work. If I "wind up" the blade to stain my pants rpm's, it will take a 3" tree in a second. It will spin me around if I don't have a good footing  but you know fat guy's don't like to bend over with a saw:whistle: and I like to cut 'em close. It still has ALL the carbide's.

That's the one I have and I like it a lot. I got it mostly so I could put a blade on it to maintain trails. But now I use it for weed whacking too. My echo was ok, but this guy isn't bothered like the echo can be.

FWIW this is the old FS353AV For Sale - Stihl FS 353AV brushcutter
If you ever want a serious sapling blade check out the Beaver blade:

I had a 12" on the FS353 that would smoke saplings.

Maybe someone can help me on my in store confusion as the sales guys were clueless
The bigger cc machine FS 131R has a guard with X's through cutting implements that "shouldn't" be run including any rigid blade:loco:
The smaller displacement 91R has no X's
I'm assuming the later has a stronger drive shaft - or is it drive shaft speed?

iBob I like how they have the small vertical ridges on the radial face of the blade - does that help with the inevitable jamming of stringy stuff around the arbor?

I've got my brush blade on a light, "D" handle Echo, SRM 261 iirc. All about using the right blade, keeping it sharp, and using it correctly.

Maybe it's the guard itself they don't consider suitable?

you are correct. After reading the dealer's accessory manual all of them had asterisks "when equipped with xyz guard"

I bought the FS91R with d-handle. Very comfortable to operate but the string head is a subtle PITA, snapping line off at the feeder holes.
They didn't have the arbor nut in stock so picking that up this weekend and will put it through some rigors on the hill down the driveway
