Just ran down the road to pick up beer for our demo crew tonight. I was coming back and a snow mobile flew out right in front of me. Put my car half in the ditch to avoid hitting the guy. Thank God the roads were not slippery this morning or the outcome would be totally different.

Probably both our faults too, I know that trail is there and drive past it everyday. He knows the snow banks are so high that neither the snowmobiles or cars can see each other.

I just aged about 5 years...

Good that you were on the ball and let the guy enjoy more riding. Can only hope your aging 5 years brought him a little wisdom… o_O

Guy ON snowmobile was at fault, rule is to stop before crossing road here in WI. I know that ain't much comfort. Good on you for avoiding a nasty problem. Now if we could only manipulate a couple of gene sequences in the whitetails to stop and wait for traffic.......................

Glad everyone is ok. Nobody wants to hear bad news this late in the season.

and it's too bad the clubs don't knock down the banks some in order to see better.

I heard that not too long ago, still cracks me up. If we could put a face to this voice it would make it all come together.

The radio personality is even heard chuckling about 1/2 way through, it's so hard not to laugh...

I think it's has something to do with city air and condos and bus riding ect. plus some blonde genes. That has been around for a
That's not the point, the snowmobiler blowing across the street is the same as you running a red light at an intersection in your car/truck/ motorcycle, bicycle.

Glad everyone is okay, our road out front is a sledding road, some just don't care about the car traffic.

Ten thousand dollar sled, a two dollar brain.

Up here in Southern NH and Northwest Ma i am not sure who is stupider, the snow-machine guys or the deer. They pop out in front of you on major roadways, not just backwoods neighborhood roads. No one dead here locally this year that I've heard of, but that's actually unusual.

If it's light enough out, you can see their crossing paths from previous crossings, or if they're lucky you can hear their machines whining and see their headlights paralleling the road just before they pull out.

Dang it, I always thought that was dancing deer sign. Always wondered why I never saw them dance.

I agree, they shouldnt have the deer crossing on the highway :zip:
