The town I now live in is small 1,000 ish. I grew up all over the south, paw, was a pipefitter/ fabrication superintendent for Brown and Root. I was Combat disabled and medically retired. We doing well still gainfully enlisted and my Commander in Chief, Clinton decided to down size the military. How he did it was everyone that was injured inside a certain range of dates, we were all retired. Just before this I had just re-enlisted for 6 more. Was a huge surprise to get a pink slip. My one star was none too happy. He escorted my to my medical review, trying to keep me in. Did not work, boy those Lt's and Commanders did not know what to do with a one star. Best laugh I had that day. Needless to say I was retired. He placed a few calls, had a job in a few minutes. Guess it paid to take shrapnel for a bird, some don't forget, who was injured/retired, and who had no scratches and got promoted. I still work for Uncle Sugar. I did take a transfer here. Best place I have ever been stationed. I live in GODS country. Hunting anything that can kill you is a rush. I enjoy bear hunting with a pistol, its a thrill! On the ground with a grizz, two paws with 5 claws 4-6 inchs long.
No more porting. Haven't started one in 3 months. I visit forums some days and sometimes I skip a day or 6
So my hacked up saw must sell for a premium now I've only run Mastermind and mdavlee ported saws, both are fun. Where's jon1212 to remind us it's a fad?
Sorry I missed out, I enjoyed reading the square file your chain thread. Have some Bahco files coming from auto world.
Lol My construction season is starting to wind down , I should be back in shop after thanksgiving. I have a few saws here already prolly be after the new year before I could to get any more. I'm slow I don't make a job out of saws I like to take my time and not see how many I can do! I rather spend extra time fulfilling the saw owners needs and get the gains they want..
Scott Kunz Treemonkey did my ms361. It's awesome. Randy Mastermind did my MS461 and MS261. They are great.
I'm backed up with saws till probably after the new year. I know Scott Kunz (tree monkey) builds an awesome ms261. I think he might be taking work now. This is a tree monkey ms261
