It uses digital images that can be put on a memory stick. You plug in the memory stick and thread the machine and away you go. I finally found an image of a chainsaw today. Yes you can plug your computer into it also. I really do not know if it is a fancy one or not to be honest.
Does she have the digitizing software for it? Just about any image you want can be digitized for use in the machine. Wife was into that for awhile.

I do not believe it has that capability. Does the software load into a computer and you digitize your images there or is that something that was in the embroidery machine.
We had embroidery software on the computer we could load stock designs or professionally digitized logo's, from there we could change the size or stitch count along with a bunch of other things. Once we had the design ready to embroider we could send it through a cable to our three head embroidery machine or put it on a disk and then read it off the computer on the embroidery machine.
Mag Craft , if or when you wife might be interested, my husband needs some white polo shirts with his logo done (same place as the one she did for you on your cover pic), of course we are willing to pay for the shirts and her time/labor, and can pick up, we are in your area a few times a year.
She is still learning a lot since this is all new to her. But I will mention it to my wife. I do not know what the logo is and would need a digitized image of it in the JEF format to load on a memory stick. We have no way of making our own images.
