My arborist friend gave me a bunch of 3” to 4” black birch branches and bigger stuff as well. I️ had like an hour and a half to process the limbs into roughly 16” long pieces. I️ used a power mitre saw and my Fiskars X27. I️ made 4 wheel barrow loads. This is a good size to burn when you are in the stove room watching TV etc.

Sure does look like a handy method for cutoffs. I guess if the blade is too shallow to cut through, ya just roll it over and cut again?

That’s correct, just roll it over.

Will have to try it on some of the splits that are to long for the stove. Been setting them in a milk crate, putting a ratchet strap around them and chain sawing them. May work easier.
