Well, I finally had my first real fire and our 3 month old Great Dane puppy absolutely loved it! The big problem now is, small living room and 2 other labs that love the fire! I need a bigger house, especially because of how quickly this pup is growing. 50 lbs. at 15 weeks, his dad was about 190 lbs. My wife has always wanted a Great Dane and now that I'm home all the time I figured I would surprise her with her wish. It's been over 10 years since we had a puppy and man, you forget how much work they are! Hahaha!! He is a great dog though, and he has two great role models (My two older Labs) so he's off to a good start. 20171101_114909.jpg 20171031_131231.jpg 20171105_191718.jpg

Great looking dag. I can’t imagine 3 huge dogs fighting for space in front of the fire. My two are 60 and 40 pounds and they push each around for the best spot in front of our insert. They’re gonna be upset this year with the new baby gate, they can’t get right on top of the stove like they’re used to. I never understood how some dogs lay so close to the fire, I have to pull them back sometimes I’m afraid they’re going to combust.

That's the first I've seen him, and I love him. I'm a sucker for dogs. Only a dog will find EVERYTHING you say interesting no matter how boring of a person you are...which if you're like me, a rock is more interesting.

Oh how adorable. And here I thought mine were big. Lucy and Max are around 100, the rest are a bit smaller.

Yep, dogs are where it's at. A guy told me once, " Lock your dog & significant other in the car trunk for an hour & see which one's happy to see you when you open the trunk" . He did make a good point LOL.

Yeah but I think she's about ready to throw me outside because of my beard she absolutely hates it! She always says to me you look like an animal you should be living outside!  I guess dogs rate better than me because when she sees a dog tied outside when it's cold she gets so mad and says they are a part of the family and should be inside where it warm. Well I still have another few months of the beard growing to do!:emb::whistle::picard: We go through this every year. She said I liked you when you use to shave, that was 13 years ago!

Pretty Dane! Here's delta, our Great Dane pup that's around 5 months and weighing in around 70. She looks a lot like your blue fawn! Her Dad which we also have is a blue Merle and he's about 180 and stands 36" at the shoulders. We have 6 Great Danes. Yea I have a high feed bill lol. We're expecting pups from our brennel female in a couple weeks

That's a nice pup you got there.
We had a Great Dane when I was a kid, really cool dog, I wasn't much taller than him and he was on four legs.
He would accidentally bump into me and knock me right down.
