    Takes s nosey and some geezer is offering a tree he's cut down for bonfire wood but must collect.
    Bonfire my backside , even though iv no room me and our kid have been for it, pick rest up tomorow.

    Beggars can't be choosers so I'm off back for another van full .
    Shame one a big trunks has got wet through a knot but it will do for fire pit.

    Do you have a mechanical splitter? I don't, and I couldn't split willow. But, I didn't have this: $_1.JPG
    It's a twisted wedge. I ordered one, but it hasn't arrived yet. It's supposed to split twisted wood. We shall see.

    Just been for the last load four pieces in total are spongy in the middle. From a full tree for free I'll not be moaning ,
