This is just information about a totally new saw Husqvarna is building across the pond right now.
I'm definitely looking forward to the release in mouths to come. Looking at the owners manual, its written for the 565 (4.96 hp, 70.6 cc) and the 572XP (5.76 hp, 70.6 cc). I guess time will tell if the introduction goes smoothly or if it will need a trial period. Still, I'm looking forward to it. Could already be here in U.S. I don’t know! By the way you can go to forestry.com and read more about it. It been in R&D since 2014. Read more at Forestry.com the article said August 2017 for availability. But does not specifically say where available.
From what I was told it would be introduced in Canada first. This information came from a U.K. web site, but it does not mention the new saw. It talks more but about the 572xp. I stand to be corrected if any of this info is abstract/ as with all of my Posts. I always try to do my best for my family of friends at FHC. Remember no one is perfect including MYSELF... Have a nice day!

The 572 will have to be amazingly Great to beat the 372 . one of my all time favorite power heads.

I never had much luck with the 372, always dynamiting them around 9-12 months, but they were part of the stable for a long time.

In some ways it is nice to see something new step up, but at the same time not so good. I liked my 461 and part of buying it was that it was a standard saw. The law of the land is,"the more it moves, the more it breaks".

Still running a autotune saw now...it is nice to have it always running at optimum rpms.

I'm a Stihl guy, but one of the baddest saws I own is a beat-up 372XP I bought used several years back. That saw screams.....

I love my 461 too, but the air filtration on those XP's is a big deal......

Just had a big dealers meeting a few weeks ago. They are claiming big things on this saw. It will be across the pond for almost a year before we get it next August here state side. Should be a neat saw and possibly my next new saw purchase

The auto tune thing I can't relate to.
Not to dish anyone's saw. But the only saw I can remember having to semi regularly try adjusting the carb on was a 441R I was running about 10 years ago. I wasn't able to develop a good relationship with that 2 barrel carb. It always started and ran pretty good . And I put a good bit of wood on the ground with it.
For many years I used needing to adjust the carb on a saw as an indicator of some other problem. But I only worked a saw professionally for a max of 6 months.
That's running 1 gal saw gas thru a 3 cube power head in 6 hrs a day 6 days a week.
    1.5 gal thru 4 cube.
    2 gal thru 5 cube
    And 2.5+ thru 94 cc-100 cc.
3 gal + thru the 7 cube saws
All in 6-6.5 hours a day on the trigger.

Almost every saw had troubles with stuff outside the ringing rather than inside.
I sure don't have any opposition to auto tune as long as it works Perfectly. I just don't feel the need for it.

    As to the 372. IMG_20120326_152430.JPG

I REALLY really like the 372. I've had 1, 371 and 3 , 372s . Fell timber with all of them . My favs were the Western with the 76 cc p+c. I couldn't tell any difference between them and the 460 Stihl as far as snort. But they vibrated less than the Stihls. And I didn't have to babysit the air filter much.
I also preferred them in the winter as they were easier to have snow and COLD ready.
Just duct tape the bottom half of the starter cover , open the winter port in the ceiling and that's it.

So redmax will just have the 2172? That'll be good news for those that don't want to switch platforms.

I am not sure what all they are going to put under the redmax branding. Nobody has given me any solid answers. Go figure lol
