Hauling a hydraulic Press 370 miles

We picked this press up in East Dallas this morning, not home yet.

I had a B-1 buzz me while driving from Dallas to Quanah, TX. I was headed to the G-P gypsum plant. Amarillo? That's a long drive even when not pulling a trailer.

 

That bugger has a lot of throw !!
What did the shop specialize in where you got it ?

 

Just curious, why didn't you lay it down on the trailer?

didn't want to seal up hyd oil vents ?

 

Two of the vertical posts hold the fluid so I didn't want to deal with a big spill.

 

I was told it came from a TX aerospace company and I don't see any makers marks.

 

Pro tip... don't try and pull into a car wash to clean it up "real quick". Sometimes those little arms with the height restriction, that hang over the payment kiosk, are wrong.
