    This meteorologist is an interesting fellow, long range weather predictions by studying historical weather patterns, his accuracy is pretty good.

    Huh...guys name is Jim Witt, a meteorologist with Fleet weather who uses historical weather data and a lifetime of studying weather patterns to produce a super long range weather forecast, talking months even years. He publishes the forecast in the form of a calendar and sells the calendar with the proceeds going to charity.

    His prediction for NYC has no storm for next Thursday.

    I hope we stay in a pattern of storms/weather getting pushed straight east and not coming up the coast
    shovelling 1 to 2 inches was a lot better than the 6 to 12 some of the models were predicting earlier in the week


    I usually keep my snow shovel out until July.

    I'll worry about that one, next week ;). I can't stand the long range forecasts because it get's my boss all worked up about the storms and that's all i'll hear about until then. Gonna try and enjoy the next few days in the 40's and maybe even 50 on sat :drool:. Currently 13deg out

    The second half of next week may turn unsettled to stormy for a large part of the East and part of the Midwest. Early indications are that a major storm with snow, ice and rain may move up from the Gulf of Mexico.
