    Danged power went out again today. Same old song, same old dance. Trees falling on power lines. I wish the company would go back to working themselves rather than farming out the work. It is amazing how often our power goes out any more. It used to be we could go years without losing power; now it is a couple months.

    Hydro One in this area spent the last 3 years cleaning up the right of ways and our power rarely goes out now. You are right-on SAV, it does make a big difference.

    Switched gears today and made horses stay out of barn while my neighbor and I moved some things out of the way. Then he and I layed out and then drilled, and then dog three 12" holes. Installed 8" tubes in them. Backfilled, then mixed concrete and poured them. A good job done. We hope to do three more tomorrow. Today we each had to take off and go tend to other stuff for a bit so that slowed us a little. Then a soccer game to go to for 4 ended the day early. We made some progress though.

    did that for slabs under oil tanks in basements at apartment building 2 weeks ago it SUCX! call a concrete truck 4 yard minimum yup that's me now!
