Woodcutting AK 2017

Yea, most week days I was the only guy there,
Using the ATV & trailer helps too

No moose camp this year?

Now anyone that still thinks white (paper) birch rots too fast....take note! Prep and stack like bogydave and it'll be still fine over three years form now!

spike/fork moose

Still needs split/stacked
Have even had it get punky if left in rounds

 

It's good to get it home , that's a sweet pile o rounds , half way done :stacke:

 

Getting it home always feels good, now you can split on your schedule.

 

Do you have any help? This is impressive work.

Most of it is Fun ,
but Yea, it's hard work
I get a load , a couple days in a row , take a day off, then couple more loads.
Learned to go on weekdays , more quiet

Yes, I put out a big push to get it home.
It'll get split
but snow can shut down the cutting area for me.
I'm not set up to tow a heavy load in icy / snowy roads

 

My guess right around 10 cords.

 

That would be over 1.5 cords per load
