Do you run two batteries on that thing?

Thanks, it really is ideal for me, not willing to drive a car since 1993, and so many 4x4 trucks are too high to climb in and out of, this one is pretty low and has running boards. WWW says because of the make and model and how little I drive now that "it's just getting broke in". OH, and its paid off. It's a keeper, will get it repaired as needed :)

So, Napa charged $242 for the one battery in town:eek:. Ordered the other from a "Do It Best" hardware store here for $114 + tax:yes:. Sorry NAPA, not willing to pay double for your private branded sticker on the same battery. What a raquetttttttt!!!!!!! Anyway I looked that battery up on NAPA online where it's $176:picard: Kinda makes makes one feel dupped, you know?

Anyway Deka (EastPenn) has a very cool cross reference site for all the different brands they make for different places. And made in the USA, Nice!

Gonna head back down and continue helping out the homeowner with the boiler to furnace install for a couple days this week.

Got the furnace set, wired, condensate drain, venting, coil/plenum attached, R/A filter and riser to the first piece of R/A ductwork connected, T-stat wired up and test fired unit.

The next couple days will be cutting and gutting, have to cut in all the holes for S/A registers and also the R/A grilles. "Don't make any mistakes-there's new hardwood on the floor!"

edit-Took the truck down in hopes of grabbing some hickory, but was just too busy with the job and didn't score any...at all. Dang!

All new metal fascia on camp done today. And a couple other odds and ends. Now those little bastages will have a real hard time getting in. And I'm going to get out there with the boy's pellet gun if he doesn't.

Really nice that the cool front moved through. Windy though. Went to a cider making party and just before we got there, the power went out. Poor timing, but they had a generator going. I had double checked Saturday to make sure we had extra gas for the generator, knowing high winds were forecast. But I don't think the wind got as bad as forecast; at least here.

We did get 2.9" of rain over the last few days.

 , no trolling, but sometimes if a big one hits and your not holding the rod it will take it into the lake to never be seen again, the holes in the truck bed work better than staking the pole on the beach ;)

(just WWW down there with a second rod stamp w or w/ out lil one)

Optima's used to be a fantastic battery. But they have really gone to crap in the last handful of years.

I run 2 Odyssey batteries in my diesel Bronco. Partially because I get them at a huge discount working for the parent company, but partially because they are a great battery for a driveway plow rig.

After the winds yesterday, I checked the woods and didn't see anything down but I still have five more areas to check.

Maybe the gutters will get cleaned tomorrow.

Anyone else on here getting tired of driving? I'm looking at 4 1/2 hours tomorrow one way. Sunday could've been the same, but "someone" wanted to stop a few times extending the time of the trip to 6 1/2 hours!

    Another 4 1/2 on Wed.

Getting old and sleepless don't help, do it?

Not quite that bad, but we went on a 3 hour tour to Alpena a couple days ago that took almost 6. :headbang:
