How much did midwinter load into her suv? Surely, she did not get home empty handed.

I was scoping out the side of the road on the way up, but no loose wood lying around up north. Lots of big backyard stacks, for sure!

We enjoyed meeting you and your wife as well, along with Savemoney and his sweetheart of a wife, and of course our host and hostess. Props to those of us who made it, and maybe with more notice, we'll get more New England folk out of the woodwork next time.

Met up with Scotty and his beautiful wife for a quick coffee and photo op. This is across from the Mt.Washington omni resort - unfortunately Mt.Washington is in the clouds!

My wife and I stayed at the "fancy Red Roof Inn". Historical place there at Button woods. Big doings there post WWII
    Bretton Woods Conference - Wikipedia

We were there for my 60th. Went up Mt Washington as well. Lucked out with a beautiful clear day. Could see the glare of the ocean in the direction of Portland Me.

One question that I have to ask Well Seasoned . When Scotty told you what time he was going to be there was he there on time? :sherlock:I was just wondering which clock he was looking at when he told you what time he would be there, the eastern standard or Scotty Overkill clock? Because if you all don't know his clock usually runs an hour or two behind everyone else's! :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:  Sorry I couldn't resist, I guess it's not quite that bad well most of the time anyways.:D:p
