It is supposed to ramp up and down and on and off to best maintain the set temp. Has a thermocouple to sense the room temp....cant wait to see how well ot works......

How is the noise? A friend of mine had an englander pellet stove(we're going back 5-6 years now) and it was louder than all get out. My wife would beat me to death with a stove like that if I brought one home. Even I thought it was loud, and that's with many years of thrash metal listening.

Lucky #7 here, hope you had a great day pelletguy !

Today's mission: clean out woodshed (again) for the Englander 25-PDVC / setup an area for test burn, finish cleaning & oiling the replacement combustion & room blowers recovered from the trashed Lennox Country P40I @ the town dump, gather tools for replacing front sway-bar bushings on the '00 Yota Camry, when they arrive later today.. and find some time to get needed IT work done in the mix.

JT, can I go fishing w/ you? I'll bring Beer.. :seasoned::cheers:

Yesterdays forecast for today was for no rain south of the White Mountains, so I caulked the exterior door last night.

Sorry I made it rain today.

Overkill (still one of my all time favs), loved Anthrax too early on......ahhh, when music was real....lol Saw Megadeth at a small venue near me (with Savatage) and Mustaine freaked out at skinhead, kind of put a weird vibe into the rest of the show. Saw Slayer near me once (Overkill, Motorhead and Slayer), hands down the loudest show I was ever at. I still think to this day that show was part of my hearing loss.

Its too early for me to give an official answer. So here is my feelings at the moment. During start up, the exhaust fan is blowing full bore and is a little loud. Ones it senses the fire it drops considerably. I set the room temp to 90 so I am assuming a bit at the moment that it was feeding and firing at its highest limit. And at this point it wasnt loud at all. I believe it has a 140cfm room blower. The air coming out isnt terribly hot. But it has a lot of opening for air to come out. The front side section of the stove gets HOT!! I would guess its a bit like the Harmans in this regard...about 440 degrees hot. Similar efficiency numbers as well.

I only got a short drizzle. But yeah, I know, when I put on my list to paint caulk some of the outside of the house, I had a hard time finding a 24 hour timeframe that it wouldn't rain. But once I got the job done - no rain for nearly 3 weeks afterwards (the light drizzle today was the first).

We got sprinkled on a couple of times while out on the lake. Sunny in the AM overcast most of the afternoon. Sun came back out around 4:30 ish........

Had a hoot out there. Well worth taking a day off from the grind.............
