Great post, I'm sure someone here will benefit from this.

    Nice job paying it forward!

I certainly don't need the wood, so if someone else does, by all means jump on it. I will be willing to help out if no one else does after I make sure the wood is decent. I'm about 20/30 minutes from the south side of Camp Hill.

I must drive by you fairly often. The guy I play guitar with lives in Cashtown and I go across 234 to get there.

So here's a couple pics. After looking at it again I'd say the DBH is more like 25". You can't tell from this angle but the side over the house is all dead.

I can ask the guy that takes it down to cut up the wood or leave it whole so someone can cut it into the size they need.

There's a good amount of wood in that trunk but also in the branches

Nice. I'm in if no one else wants it. I have the capability to cut up large wood but it would be quicker if it were bucked. Either way, lmk.

And you sure do. I'm a few houses away from the Heidlersburg old 15/234 intersection. You've had to see my wood stacks!?!?

I'll have to keep my eyes open next time I go through. :binoculars:

I still need to call my friend with the bucket and get the removal set up but I'll just have him chip the brush and cut the log into FPL.

Thanks guys. The man with the tree will be happy not to have to pay to have all that wood hauled out.

I'll post again when there is a date set.

Just in case you need me, 10/21 is the pa gtg so I wouldn't be available that day. Very soon my hours will be cut back to 10-5 tues-fri. Any other day I could free up with a few days notice. I've been a groundie many times helping removals for the wood. If you need the man power, don't hesitate to ask.

I won't even be there when the tree comes down. I passed this one off entirely.
