And, if this guy thinks he's gonna remain anonymous for long… he's gonna be… surprised.
I look at it like… those who'd do the tipping of my woodpile only to find nothing below… are too slow to realize they were tipping over THE gold…

My dog buries the splits he steals from my stacks, but leaves the marrow bones all over the yard, go figure. You don't want to hit a big marrow bone with the mower.
You have to admit that it would really be nice. However, don't count on it too highly. On our place it would most likely be Indian bones or arrowheads.
Think I figured out a great way to get wood split. Tell people you hid gold inside knot holes. Gold fever does funny things to people.

Nothing but clay and ledge in our yard. No digging here without blasting. Most all the dirt and soil around here I had hauled in. Small wonder why my house is only 3 ft in the ground, on three side, I had to have 12 feet brought in to build out far enough to put the garage in. No drainage issue! Not much for frost heaves either. But then, No gold coins in a can.
I have looked on my yard with a detector before, found nothing but new coins and not many of them. That would be an awesome thing to find, even just one of those gold coins.
