I get many questions on my youtube channel on how I stack my firewood, It's not brain surgery but here are my thoughts.

Hay! I have seen your videos before but I didn't know you were a member here, or I forgot :BrianK:
Good video and some good tips:thumbs:
    Oh, oh, isn't that a t-post I see in the background there:whistle:
Are you going to do one on cribbing the ends? Some people have trouble with that, I can do it just fine, just don't care to.
Obviously you know we have a lot of enthusiastic wood hoarders on here:dex:

Good stuff. I do see a stack in the distance that does have a stake or T-bar on the end. Nice looking stacks for sure. Good job!

Lol, yes it is a T post, But, and this is a big BUT, It's only there because I strapped a trail camera on it pointed at the feeder. Its not touching the wood!!

You're OCD and I'm ADHD! My stacks look snakes with mange! I have a stack of red oak 60' long and 7' high that just meanders down its full length.

The only positive thing I can say about my stacking is that none have tipped over in several years. My snakey oak has been stacked nearly 5 years.:salute::wacky:

Nice video. My problem is I have so many different types of trees, no matter how straight I try to stack them, they dry at different rates and my stacks always tend to lean one way or the other. I'll have a hickory fall and get that in the stacks then have a red oak or maybe some sweetgum (cause there's tons of em and I cut them out as I can). They tend to get layered up. I've only had a stack actually fall over twice, but have had to use my tractor to "correct" them several times.

I watched this video last night and started to wondering if you were a member here, Mike. I am a subscriber to your channel and really like the format of your videos. Fast forward through the tedious stuff, explain when necessary, and just let the method tell the story. Nice job.

I can't stack that straight. Ever! I'm serious! I couldn't do it if I strung a line. That's impressive!! Thanks for the video too!

Another great video, Mike. Thanks for posting it up.
I wish we had cherry trees that straight on this side of the mountains.

I have watched all your videos. Nice to see you on here. Those are some sweet stacks. I plan on modeling my stacks after yours, but I want to create a fence with it around my property to keep the pup in. I just have to figure out a way so the deer can still come through to get to the Apple trees. I only need about 50 or so more cords to finish the fence...
