Just discovered that one of my wood piles, around a face cord, fell over again. Second time with this pile. It is about 75% Ash running between 20% to 20.5%. The other 25% is Beech and not ready to burn. I figure I will handle the Ash one more time after I restack it. I'm going to move the Ash up to the house for shoulder wood. The next time I have to handle it will be to the stove. Tired of restacking the pile. The beech I am going to take it to the barn and put it on top of my Honey Locus stack.

WTH? Check for some sort of gravity anomaly where that stack was.

You maybe on to something here.
The first time the pile was stacked by my grandson and was a little shaky. We I restacked it, it was very solid. I was surprised to see it toppled again.

I hate those temporary horizontal gravity anomalies.

No bears around here. First time I figured it was coons. This time it had to be a big deer that jumped on the stack.
