Up until yesterday we did not see a 90 degree day all summer and have not run our air conditioner for quite some time. That all changed yesterday when we hit 95. Today will probably be about the same but more humid. BTW, today is the first official day of fall.
What was supposed to be a hot day here has not materialized as of yet. Severe T-storms rolling through and temps fell back into the 60's. But if the heat shows up, its going to be miserable muggy!

We are forecast to have mid to high 80s in the afternoon for the next four or five days. Warm, dry weather is welcome after all the rain we had earlier this year. The dry weather worked out well for our timber harvesting of Pine and Spruce late last summer in 2016. And now the weather is working out well for our timber harvest of the Ash trees late this summer in 2017. The tree crew should be done and gone in another two weeks. The property is getting a good thinning and will be nice to have better access during all temperatures.
Yup. My son is coming back from Sweden today and it's been cool there. But before he went there he was in Dubai and it was way over 100 there. He'll be happy to come home even if it is hot.
I am having a fun day Sunday, but will be sweating tomorrow to get two day's stuff done in one day. Main objective is a medium sized beech tree. Gotta chop it up and get it skidded out. Normally mowing would be Sunday, that'll have to be done tomorrow as well. Big Motorcycle show in Columbus Sunday! Indoors and air conditioned!
Yep, hot here. We take our a/c out which I did all besides the bedroom about 2 weeks ago. Wed. I put them back in and have been running heavy.
I heard that, doggone long range did not show this heat so I thought we could make it. Took them out the same day I closed the pool. I worked today for about 3 hrs putttig up another stand and cutting some brush down a new shooting lane. Told the wife by the time I was done I wished the pool was open, I was soaked in sweat.
I need to hang a couple more stands but it will just have to wait for cooler weather. I refuse to do it now.
